Classes and Events

Classes:

You may have heard about, or received, Reiki and now you would like to learn more.   In class you will learn how to use Reiki to support your own health and healing and how to share Reiki with others.

First Degree Reiki  (Reiki I):

This class enables students to practice hands on Reiki on themselves.   Students who then incorporate a daily Reiki self practice will find it brings balance to their life and health. This training is often held on a Friday evening followed by an all day Saturday and Sunday class.   The core of the training is a series of initiations – referred to as attunements. In class you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn the history of Reiki
• Receive instructions and hand positions for practicing self Reiki
• Receive instructions and hand positions to treat others
• Receive four Reiki I attunements spread over several days
• Learn about the 5 Precepts and how they serve our practice of Reiki
• Have plenty of time to practice self Reiki and experience treating classmates
• Share your experience and have your questions answered

Second Degree Reiki (Reiki II):

In this class Reiki students learn advanced methods for treating themselves and other people. Reiki II can bring about personal growth and spiritual development.   Students who incorporate a daily Reiki self practice will find it brings balance to their life and health. This training is often held on a Friday evening followed by an all day Saturday and Sunday class.   The core of the training is an initiation – referred to as an attunement In class you will have the opportunity to:

• Refresh the main points from the Reiki I class
• Receive the Reiki II attunement, potentially deepening your Reiki practice and empowering your own spiritual practice
• Learn three of the Reiki symbols, their function and how to use them
• Learn how to perform Reiki treatments remotely (distance healing)
• Have plenty of time to practice Reiki with your classmates
• Share your experience and have your questions answered
